Leaf and yard waste collected by the Town is processed and turned into compost on site at the Landfill and Recycling Depot. It is then used to fertilize and enhance our natural ecosystems.

2026 Curbside Yard Waste Collection Schedule
The Town collects leaf and yard waste at the curbside during the spring and fall seasons each year. Outside of these dates, leaf and yard waste may be dropped off at the Town's Landfill and Recycling Depot anytime during regular operating hours (subject to fees as applicable).

Leaf and Yard Waste Collection Guidelines
- Yard Waste is collected on your regular curbside collection day and must be curbside no earlier than 7:00 p.m. the day prior, and no later than 7:00 a.m. on collection day (subject to fines)
- Yard Waste collected curbside is limited to 10 compostable bags or containers weekly
- Oversized yard waste is not collected curbside but can be delivered to the Landfill and Recycling Depot (subject to applicable fees)
