The proposal sought permission to expand the existing Gravel Pit onto the vacant area of the property (east side of property). A Zoning By-law Amendment and Official Plan Amendment were required.
A public meeting was held on May 16, 2016 at Town Hall.
Because a decision on this application by Council was not made within the 210-day requirement, the developer appealed both the Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment applications. The Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) approved the applications with modifications. LPAT decisions are posted on this page below.
