A friendly group of painters of all skill levels meet every Tuesday morning from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm at the Marsh Street Centre in Clarksburg. Room to set up your work in your medium of choice…. oil, acrylic or water colour. Lots of encouragement and gentle advice is available. Weekly fee is $10 plus $1 for coffee and cookies. Taoist Tai Chi Health Recovery Classes are offered locally on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:30 at the Lora Bay Rec Centre. Health recovery classes make use of the Taoist Tai Chi arts to help alleviate the symptoms of chronic illness or injury. Through regular practice, participants will gain better balance, strength, flexibility and circulation, as well as a sense of relaxation and well being. You're welcome to come check out a class! This new iPad class is for beginners and veterans alike who want to learn more about using their iPads. We will delve into Settings, including how to update your iPad for the latest iOS (if possible) then discuss some recent changes. We will also look at how you can enable dictation for some apps so you can speak and the iPad will type. We will also discuss how Siri can be used to perform some voice commands. Finally, we will look at how to use the Calendar App.
No prerequisite is required. Maximum registration is 6 people. Instructor: Darrell Noseworthy.

Citizens' Forum is a forum for discussions and information about the Town of The Blue Mountains in Ontario. It is primarily directed at residents and others associated with this municipality, but the meetings are open to all who are interested in participating in respectful and informative exchanges about our municipality.
We meet every Tuesday from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at The Corner Cafe - 3 Bruce Street South in Thornbury. Community updates start at 4:30 pm, with weekly guest speakers from 5:00pm - 6:00pm. Everyone is welcome; this is a great way to connect with other community members in an informal setting, and learn about the issues effecting our community.
