A Zoning By-law Amendment has been proposed on the property to allow a Contractor’s Yard to be established.
Currently, the subject property is zoned both Rural (RU) and Rural Employment Exception (M2-5) zone. The area where the buildings and structures are located is the area that is zoned M2-5. The Exception 5 currently permits only an abattoir associated buildings and structures, and accessory uses. This application seeks to change the Exception 5 to allow the Contractor’s Yard use and delete the abattoir use; no new structures are proposed at this time.
