Bike to School Week goes Ontario-wide

School communities across the province are encouraged to register for Bike to School Week 28 May-1 June 2018. (Please share with your networks.)
Thanks to a new partnership between Green Communities Canada and Cycle Toronto, the annual Bike to School Week campaign has now expanded from the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) to all Ontario schools. The popular campaign was launched in 2015 with support from Metrolinx, the regional transportation authority, and has grown to include more than 400 schools and 25,000 students in 2017.
Visit the Bike to School Week website for a wealth of resources, including posters, activity ideas, incentives, and prizes. The step-by-step Guide for Schools is a great place to start.

Don’t forget to register your school community’s activities. Green Communities Canada will send 500 stickers free of charge to the first 60 schools from outside the GTHA that register.

Ontario Active School Travel is a program of Green Communities Canada. Thanks to the Government of Ontario and other funders for their support.
