Mike Grace is back with a Twist on April 27! Thornbury Jazzworks is bringing on the classics.

Mike is switching it up and instead of playing double bass, he will be playing saxaphone and clarinet! This local favourite is sure to draw a crowd, so the event will be held at the Beaver Valley Small Hall.

Mike Grace, superb musician , highly respected music educator and clinician, is no stranger to JAZZ AT THE LIBRARY. Over the years we have known him playing double bass, but being the consummate musician he plays a number of other instruments. For a change  he will entertain us next Friday April 27th playing saxophones and clarinet, leading his own Mike Grace Quintet. With him will be John McLelland on piano and Steve James on drums, who also have been here before. Two new faces will be Chris Cigolea on trumpet and Art Lang on bass.

Mike is looking through his Dance and Jazz Book to select the classic jazz tunes you love to hear. For this event Thornbury Jazzworks invites you to the small hall in the Beaver Valley Community Centre and is looking forward to another great evening of Jazz at its Best.

Tickets as usual available at Pharmasave in Thornbury and Blue Mountain Music in Collingwood.

See you there to celebrate Spring with music
