CREEMORE JAIL 125TH YEAR CELEBRATION
CLEARVIEW

Clearview Township is proud to announce that the Creemore Jail will be hosting a special 125th-anniversary celebration. Media and members of the public are invited to join volunteers, members of Council and Mayor Vanderkruys to celebrate the history of the ‘Smallest Jail in North America”. The celebration will feature area musicians Bob Presner and Fran Webster, stories of the jail, greetings from local dignitaries, a special cake, and a few surprises. More Info

MEAFORD TANK RANGE BUS TOUR

The bus will be leaving the Meaford Museum for 11:00 am.There will be 3 stops: Main cemetery, Mountain Lake and Vails point. The bus tour is approximately 2 hours in length. More Info

The Collingwood Half Marathon is a scenic, 21.1 kilometre race in the heart of the Georgian Triangle. You get to experience the best of the historic town of Collingwood and the open countryside surrounding the Town. Sainte-Marie’s Thanksgiving Harvest Festival and Arts and Crafts Show and Sale is a fun family event, with lots of on-site activities and outstanding artisans and crafters. The event is a regional favourite and typically includes both new and returning artisans.  More Info

PIGS: CANADA'S PINK FLOYD

On their Left + Right East Coast Tour of 2017, PIGS are bringing an epic and rare treat for Pink Floyd fans out East: the band will be crossing the country to perform selections from the entire Floyd catalog, including a few special surprises from Floyd solo records. In addition to classics from legendary albums like Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall, the band will showcase material that has rarely—if ever—been performed live by Pink Floyd.
