Ontario Police Auxiliary Program Accepting Members for the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP detachment.


(COLLINGWOOD AND THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, ON.) The Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are accepting applications from community members who would like to pursue a career in policing. 

The Ontario Provincial Police Auxiliary Program is looking for members of the Community to serve as Volunteers with the Police to assist with a variety of duties.

 Basic conditions for Appointment:


  • Canadian Citizen or permanent resident;
  • Age 18;
  • Ontario Grade 12 or equivalent;
  • Class 'G' driver's licence with good record
  • No criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted
  • Certified in First Aid and CPR


Please submit your applications, to the attention of OPP Auxiliary Staff Sergeant Brenda Seymour, at the Collingwood OPP detachment at 201 Ontario Street in Collingwood or Thornbury OPP detachment at 364 Clark Street in Thornbury.
