Family Fishing Day at L.E. Shore Memorial Library

The Blue Mountains Public Library has teamed up with Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) for a Family Fishing Day.  Join us on Friday August 11th, from 1pm-4pm, for a day of local fishing and tackle share.

OFAH will be providing a unique opportunity for introducing and teaching children and families about fishing.  Beginning with a talk about fish species, conservation, rules, and safety, we will then be heading to the Beaver River for the hands-on experience fishing.  Rods, reels, and bait are all provided by the Tackle Share Program.

Children under 12 must have a parent or guardian acompanying them for transportation and supervision.
