The Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts is celebrating Canada's 150 by inhabiting the gallery with Canadian wildlife and livestock as depicted in the visual arts. Well known local artists, sculptors and wood carvers portray our Canadian animal heritage...beavers, bears, wolves, horses, steers and more. Special guest of honour Mr.Charles Pachter of the iconic "Canadian moose" will be exhibiting 2 canvases and a sculpture.

JAZZ & BLUES AT THE STATION

Modern day music grew from the roots of Blues, Jazz, Country and Gospel and those roots show up every Wednesday evening at the Museum/Station during the Collingwood summer. Great music and superb sound production in an intimate park-like setting makes for a memorable evening. Excellent food and beverages raise the enjoyment level another few notches and with a beautiful sunset over Georgian Bay, it is certainly a wonderful experience.

See a family favourite movie under the stars on Friday nights at Harrison Park by the Good Cheer basketball court. The evening starts with an up-and-coming musical act followed by the movie. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for your viewing comfort. The Harrison Park Inn take-out window is open until 9:00 pm. August 4: The Lego Batman Movie.

Barry Butterfield, a newly retired dentist, is unsure of what to do with all his free time. Jonas Ainsworth, a suave stage actor, spends his days wooing the ladies. Proving opposites attract, the men quickly become an inseparable duo and embark on clever ways to spice up their lives – and the lives of those around them.

As part of the Keys to Collingwood Street Piano Festival there will be an evening market as an extension to the regular morning market. Patrons will have the opportunity to buy dinner, shop your favourite market vendor, and be entertained with performances by The Suitors and The Mike McCarthy Band. There will be balloon twisting and face painting by U-Pick Parties, children’s crafts with Magic of Children in the Arts, and an extraordinary show put on by magician Sawyer Bullock

GHOST TOURS AT DISCOVERY HARBOUR

A spooky guided tour by candlelight featuring encounters with apparitions in the window and footsteps in the hallway. Tales of actual people associated with the Military and Naval Establishments will include that of the McGarraty brothers who died on the march from York in June of 1831 and the tale of Private James Drury who died New Year’s Eve 1836 on guard duty at Officers’ Quarters

A guided tour of Sainte-Marie that highlights French and First Nations stories and the people who lived here from 1639 to 1649. Individuals such as Master Carpenter Charles Boivin and Blacksmith Louis Gaubert will be highlighted. The evening concludes in the Longhouse with a traditional First Nations story which is a memorable experience and not to be missed.
