UG SERIES BEACHWOD
COLLINGWOOD

UG Series BeachWOD is the largest functional fitness event in Canada. An outdoor, 3 day, celebration of functional fitness taking place on the shores of Georgian Bay with the historic Collingwood grain elevators, and the view of the ski hills as the backdrop. Athletes from across Canada will compete in various divisions from RX to Beginner, including Masters 40+ and Adaptive athletes.  More Info

Modern day music grew from the roots of Blues, Jazz, Country and Gospel and those roots show up every Wednesday evening at the Museum/Station during the Collingwood summer. Great music and superb sound production in an intimate park-like setting makes for a memorable evening. Excellent food and beverages raise the enjoyment level another few notches and with a beautiful sunset over Georgian Bay, it is certainly a wonderful experience.  More Info

6 HOURS OF GIBRALTAR

This successful 5th year mountain bike relay event has raised $300,000 for My Friend’s House. Professionally built, this exclusive course is unique. Located on a private wooded property in Gibraltar, it has varying terrain and difficulty levels that allow for a challenging, yet fun and family friendly atmosphere. Festival-like with music, an emcee, race swag and prizes, 6 Hours of Gibraltar has created a mountain bike relay for all ages that truly gives back to the community.  More Info

The North Face Endurance Challenge Series' international expansion within North America is offering an event at Blue Mountain Resort, Featuring the most pronounced elevation gain trail race in all of Ontario, The North Face Endurance Challenge cruises along the Niagara Escarpment on the western shores of the Georgian Bay and navigates through the ski trails of the Blue Mountains.  More Info

Tales of actual people associated with the Military and Naval Establishments will include that of the McGarraty brothers who died on the march from York in June of 1831 and the tale of Private James Drury who died New Year’s Eve 1836 on guard duty at Officers’ Quarters.  More Info
