Meaford Scarecrow Invasion and Family Festival Scarecrow Building Workshop
COME AND JOIN IN THE FUN Help us create 250 scarecrows. No experience needed. Seasoned volunteers on deck to help new volunteers. Workshops will be held at the Meaford Harbour Pavilion Community Cookbook: Come to our Table
The Community Cookbook Team, Blue Mountains Public Library and Arts Advisory Council present: Community Cookbook: Come to our Table Social Evening at the L.E. Shore Memorial Library on Thursday May 25th. Doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are $5. SweetWater Jazz: An Evening of Swingin' Strings
An evening of jazz featuring SweetWater Music Festival Artistic Director Mark Fewer (violin), along with Drew Jurecka (violin), Nathan Hiltz (guitar) & Joseph Phillips (bass). The concert will include favourites such as Sweet Georgia Brown, Dark Eyes, Minor Swing, Nuages, and even a swing-version of the famous Bach Double Concerto for two violins. East Coast Open returns this year at a whole new level as the only Canada Cup Downhill race in Ontario. UCI points will be on the line for Canada’s most elite DH racers. Activities include guided bike tours, BMX demonstrations, and a vendor village. Perils of Persephone
The play is a light-hearted comedy about fossils, radioactive material, cows, toxic dumps, and – most importantly – protecting your home. It’s not deep stuff or punch to the gut drama, but it is a solid play with a proven record by a popular Canadian playwright Dan Needles and it’s a fun show to take in.
