Emergency Services

Public Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs)

As part of the Grey County Public Access Defibrillation Program, the Town has four AEDs located within The Blue Mountains:

These are available for use by staff and the public.

In the past, only select first responders carried  AEDs to defibrillate a victim of sudden cardiac arrest. Because most EMS response times do not meet the 3 to 4 minute window of opportunity, AEDs have become extremely important in an effort to save the lives of residents, employees and visitors of any given community.

The four AEDs located in our community were generously donated by the Mikey Network.
