Canada 150 Mosaic Mural

Canada 150 Mosaic Mural

The Canada 150 Mosaic Mural will be one of the biggest collaborative murals ever created in Canadian history and will unite Canadians from coast to coast.

The Canada 150 Mosaic Mural Project is led by internationally recognized artist Lewis Lavoie and his Mural Mosaic Team based out of Alberta.  To follow the mural’s progress across Canada, visit the Canada 150 Mosaic website.

The Blue Mountains’ mural is composed of 400 tiles, each measuring 4 inches square.  Residents of all ages participated in the painting of the mural and have produced a beautiful representation of our community.

Unveiling

The Blue Mountains’ Mural for the Canada 150 Mosaic will be unveiled on July 1, 2017 during the Canada Day celebrations downtown Thornbury.
