The following is a list of current bid and tender opportunities for The Blue Mountains. All bid submissions must be received in a sealed envelope and date stamped at the Finance Department, 1st Floor of Town Hall, 32 Mill Street, Thornbury, ON N0H 2P0. Please note that fax and email submissions will not be accepted.

Register as a Bidder

It is important that you register as a Bidder with the Town so that you may ensure complete receipt of the required bid document and instructions on bidding.

Failure to register may result in non-acceptance of your submission. It is your responsibility to check for addenda prior to bid closing.

Click on “Bid Registration” below for information about the bid as well as instructions on how to receive the bid documents. Once your email has been received Purchasing will process and email the bid documents and add your company information to the Plan Takers List.

2017-17-T-IPW Valve Repair/Replacement at Craigleith Sewage Lift Station (Tenders)

The Work to be provided by the successful Bidder is generally described as follows: • Install, commission, operate and remove temporary pumping system; • Remove and dispose of existing two check valves, four gate valves; two slide gates, one sluice gate, and float rings; • Install two pre-purchased gate valves; • Supply and install two new gate valves; • Supply and install two new check valves; • Supply and install two new slide gates; • Supply and install one new sluice gate. The specific requirements of the Work are provided in the specifications. It shall be the bidder’s responsibility to ensure that all items have been included, without repetition, in the submitted bid. A $5,000 bid security is required for this Tender.
